ISNET/SUPARCO DISTANCE TRAINING ON TURBULENCE AND HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTATION; 20 JUNE 2022

ISNET Secretariat in collaboration with SUPARCO organized distance training course on ” Turbulence and High Performance Computation” on 20 June 2022. The course’s aim was twofold. One was the turbulence which is the flow property and a very complex phenomenon. This type of flow is difficult to mimic. Therefore, numerical techniques like Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used to predict such kind of flows. When predicting such flows, the little structures of flow are difficult to capture and their physics as well, therefore, very fine meshing is required to capture these little flow-structures. So the second area was, the High Performance Computation (HPC) that is used to run these heavy meshes. 9 participants attended this training course.
