ISNET/SUPARCO DISTANCE TRAINING ON SATELLITE BASED DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND MITIGATION; 25-29 JULY 2022

ISNET Secretariat in collaboration with SUPARCO organized distance training course on “Satellite Based Disaster Management and Mitigation”. This course provided basic understanding of space based disaster management. The course progressed from image interpretation techniques, remote sensing for disaster assessment and monitoring as well as rapid damage assessment. The course also provided hands-on exercises emphasizing on the flood, earthquake, landslide and drought rapid mapping and damage assessment techniques. 27 participants regularly attended this training course.
