ISNET/SUPARCO DISTANCE TRAINING ON ADVANCED REMOTE SENSING APPLICATIONS IN FORESTRY; 23 – 27 MAY 2022

ISNET Secretariat in collaboration with SUPARCO organized distance training course on “Advanced Remote Sensing Applications in Forestry” from 23-27 May 2022. The course aimed to provide advanced understanding of GIS and Remote Sensing and their applications in forestry. The course progressed from digital image processing for mapping forest density, forest biophysical parameters using high resolution satellite datasets followed by mapping forest types using hyperspectral datasets. Over 100 participants registered for this course, out of which around 70 participants regularly attended all the training days.
