APSCO/ESA/CISL SPACE LAW WORKSHOP 2021; 6 – 8 SEPTEMBER, 2021; SANYA, CHINA

As one of the biennial activities under the Knowledge Exchanging Platform, APSCO in collaboration with European Space Agency (ESA) and China Institute of Space Law (CISL) organized Space Law Workshop 2021 on the theme of “Regional Cooperation Schemes on Space Law and Policy” from 6 – 8 Sep 2021 in Sanya, China in hybrid format. The main objectives of the workshop were to exchange information on regional cooperation mechanisms and policies in space law policy and other legal and regulatory issues related to space activities and to consider mechanisms for increasing regional and international cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space ISNET being the observer of APSCO also received its announcement for possible participation. The Secretariat of ISNET presented its paper on “Achieving Space Diplomacy in OIC Region through ISNET Fora” that was well received from the participants of the workshop.
