APSCO COMPETITION ON DISCOVERING HISTORICAL CULTURAL HERITAGE WITH EYE IN SPACE” AND DISTANCE TRAINING COURSE ON “REMOTE SENSING DATA PROCESSING AND APPLICATIONS”; 6 DEC – 14 JAN 2022
APSCO, the International Centre on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage (HIST) under the Auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the PIESAT Information Technology CO., Ltd. (PIESAT), the Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA), the Belt and Road Cultural Heritage Global Alliance (BRCHGA) and Commission on Geoheritage of the International Geographical Union (IGU-COG) jointly organized training course on “Remote Sensing Data Processing and Applications” back to back with the “Competition on Discovering Historical Cultural Heritage with Eye in Space” during 6 Dec, 2021 to 14 Jan 2022 by teleconference. ISNET Secretariat being Observer of APSCO announced the said activity to its member states for possible participation. This activity aimed to stimulate the enthusiasm of university students and young scholars to explore new areas of space technology applications. Besides, it provided participants with opportunities to exchange learning and apply space knowledge, and encourages contestants to use earth observation space big data to explore scientific cooperation about earth sciences, data technology, and applications. 1 of ISNET’s participant attended the course.
